My Maori Conversation

This week in Te Reo Māori we're learning the kupu of the week (words of the week) and we all made a Māori conversation.

For the words we learnt are tūrangawaewae which means your standing place your standing place means your house or your country. Another word we learnt is whakapapa that means your family tree or your family relationship. Another one we learnt is tāonga what means something treasured to you. We also learnt these 2 awa and maunga, awa means river and maunga means mountain.

Nō hea koe? Ko wai tō ingoa?

  1. Hi Ava
It is great to see you blogging your Te Reo work. You have put a lot of effort into your slide and have added a lot of kupu. I can see that you have a great understanding of the kupu of the week, too.
Make sure that you are blogging twice a week.
    Thanks
